Meet jamie leigh, LCSW

I’m glad you’re here.

about me

I love what I do.

Helping women like you by providing a safe place to feel understood is my passion. Therapy with me is compassionate, structured, and hopeful. I believe in the importance of providing you with a warm, inviting space where you aren’t judged for anything that you’re going through.

I’m down to earth, insightful, and clients find my approach very accessible. I have the ability to get to the root of what’s really going on in a direct and compassionate way. I’m not a passive therapist - I am actively engaged during our sessions. I fully show up for you and I’ll expect that you show up too.

I’m a highly sensitive person and an ambivert (an introvert who can be extroverted when needed). I have a deep spiritual practice and I am a daily meditator. I “walk the talk” - I embody and practice the same principles I guide clients through during sessions. I found my way to this work through my own therapeutic journey so I understand the hard work, vulnerability, and trust it takes.

Healing happens when we start working with what is on the inside.

You’re welcome here.

Therapy is a safe harbor for life’s toughest moments—a space just for you, where your feelings and experiences truly matter. It can feel deeply restorative to begin to talk about what feels difficult. You might be surprised at how profound it can feel to share without censoring or taking care of anyone else. When you and I are able to process what’s on the inside - new paths forward become visible, and meaningful transformation unfolds.

So much in life—within our families, relationships, and the world around us—is outside of our control. But when you and I begin to shift how you understand and relate to your experiences powerful change can occur. Along with practical tools and strategies - including building ways to regulate your nervous system and manage difficult emotions differently - a greater sense of agency, choice, and empowerment can start to grow in places where it may not have felt possible before.

You’ll begin to carry the insights, tools, and growth rom therapy into your daily life, so you can feel steadier, more supported, and better equipped to navigate whatever comes your way.

Training & Education

I graduated with a Masters in Social Work in 2014. I had the opportunity to support hospice patients and families for six years before transitioning to private practice.

I have an attachment-based approach with a mindfulness and self-compassion foundation. I use body-based therapies and am certified in Trauma Conscious Yoga Method. I have experience and training in nervous system regulation techniques, Polyvagal Theory, Becoming Safely Embodied, and parts work. I also have focused training in ADHD and Autism - many of my clients identify as neurodivergent.
